Early Morning with Katie | Riverside Jacksonville, Fl

A friend of mine and a talented photographer Marc Foster hit me up to come out and shoot with him in Riverside. I was glad I accepted as the lighting was amazing and the session was awesome! Katie was great and despite the heat we all had a blast. The session went like most sessions now 10% photoshoot 90% pokemon hunt! But hey Katie got her first Pikachu so it was all worth it.

Sunrise with Rachael | Jacksonville Beach

Sunrise shoots are both my favorite and least favorite things to shoot. I love the beautiful lighting we get early in the shoot, but I hate the whole waking up early part! Non the less my shoot with Rachael was pretty awesome! The lighting was great and the video and photos came out great. Also we got some pokemon on the way so it was all worth it.

Midday Waffles - Ashley Cetin

So I may have to admit an obsession with Waffle House! Its not because of the food as much as I love the old dinner style look of the building. I had this vision to shoot at the Waffle House down the road and Ashley was the perfect fit for the session. I figured I would like the results but must say this shoot came out even better then I thought it would. I love the look and lighting in each of these images! Thank you again Ashley for the dope work.

Wolf of Wall Street - Jennings Brower

With wedding season back in full swing and music videos picking up steam my time for shoots has been limited. But it was nice to get away from it all for a few to do a shoot. Just met Jennings through a friend but dudes got talented to be on the luck out for him! Session was fun and had let me try a few new ideas. Loved the way the shots came out especially with Jennings' dog Chief!

The Division - Ivana and Bonnie

The Division has been one of those games I have been watching for a long time now. Not because I am a huge gammer (I buy one game every 6 months), rather it's because the games story fascinates me. I have love for post apocalyptic stories lord knows why! But none the less when Ivana said she wanted to shoot and wanted to do something more creative I had a pretty good idea of what to do. The session was a lot of fun and Ivana and Bonnie were awesome especially since the weather was crazy cold! I am excited to shoot with them both again soon!

Kona Skate Park | Rachael and Pat

I have not been to Kona probably since I was in middle school! But Pat and Rachael had a pretty cool idea for a shot and Kona was the perfect place to pull it off. In most skate pictures you see a skater or you see a girl. We wanted to combine them. Pat is super talented on his board and we got some pretty awesome shot. The hardest part of this blog was picking just a few to post as they all came out so good. I cant wait to get back out to Kona with Pat again and get some more dope shots!

Vape and Some Cool Lights - Canon Companions

Jeff is a good friend of mine and had a pretty cool concept for a vape shooting using my home studio. I was skeptical at first as to how the shoot would come out but must say it was a pretty cool session. The lighting set up was on point and I love the drama it creates. Once Bret our vape guy left we decided to keep shooting. We used the lights on our selves and then we went out into the cold night to shoot in the middle of no where. Why? Because we are wild like that hahah!

Well This Got Out of Hand - Renee

Been super behind on editing but finally caught back up so Im excited for the new stuff coming out! We have known Renee since high school and its always a good time getting together to shoot. This was no exception! Tori and Renee had us cracking up as they started to act like fools. This made the session even more fun. By the early morning we knew the shoot had gotten out of hand! Still it was a blast and thanks Renee coming over and shooting with us.

Rainy Day in Riverside | Aimee

So we scheduled a shoot and it rained. That is the story of being a photographer in Florida. But I actually don't rainy days, they are peaceful to me. I know it's weird but it's just who I am. I think it has to do with the fact that Florida is wrongfully labeled the Sunshine state when in fact it rains. Like a lot. Plus instagram is full of photographers in my city snapping pictures on brightly light days, shoving some lens flares in with an app and calling it art. Having said all of that I liked shooting in the rain Aimee was a champ for not minding the downpour! When things got real bad we ducked out and went to a local bookstore to finish it off. Loved the session and the challenges it posed to me. Forced me to push my camera skills a bit which is always nice. Big shout out to Aimee for modeling looking forward to working together again soon!

Noir in Color - Ashley Cetin

Ashley's session was kinda of last minute but had to be one of my more favorite sessions. I loved the way the lighting worked out for these shots. Plus Ashley was a great model. The sessions lighting and set up made me think of a noir type film. This was the first of many session that I began to really focus on capturing images that felt more cinematic. cinematography has always been one of my main passions so photographing in that style is the best of both worlds.

Star Wars and Stuff... - Ashley Rowland

I have been terrible about finishing my edits lately! With all my business work plus some of my side jobs I have had no real time to finish some of my past shoots. But I have forced my self to catch up. This is a shoot I did with Ashley an old friend of mine back before Christmas. The session was a lot of fun and I was surprised with how well some of the pictures turned out.

Hillsong Nights - New Life Church - Jacksonville, Fl

Had the opportunity a while back to be the photographer for the Hillsong Nights concert in Jacksonville. New Life put on the event and it was a major hit! The concert was a ton of fun and Hillsong was great as always. Really got some great shots at the event and was happy with the way they came out in the end. While I don't agree with Brian Huston's teachings I still enjoyed the night and Im thankful for the opportunity. Took me a while to get this stuff finalized but here are the shots!

Studio Session - Vicky

When your a kid you have that moment where you say, "I can never see myself in high school". This is quickly followed by the, "I can never see myself in college" statement. The truth is we never see ourselves growing up but thats what we do, we grow up. I have known Vicky since middle school and its crazy to think how long ago that really was. Both of us have grown up, gone to school and started our careers. But we have remained friends and its was a lot of fun catching. Thanks again girl!

Poolside in the Florida Sun - Rachel

Rachel volunteered to help with a few shots I needed for a new project I was working on. While we braved the cold water for it we could not pass up on getting some shots around her yard which has some great lighting. These shots sum up florida in some ways for me, no mater the time of year Floridians find time to get some surf, sun or both. It helps that we nearly never have a cold spell. (It's ironic that right now it's like 40º outside!)
